I've had my 2012 Cooper S for a few years now and I absolutely love the thing but lately it feels like I'm driving a brick down Sheikh Zayed Road, every expansion joint and little bump sends a shudder through the whole cabin and I swear I can hear the rear end clunking over speed humps in my building's parking garage like something's just given up completely back there. I know these cars are supposed to feel stiff but this is a different level of harsh and I'm pretty sure the original shocks are just completely toast after a decade of dealing with Dubai's roads and heat cycles.
